Club's Blue Star Memorial Committee Awarded $800 by Garden Club of New Jersey

The Nottingham Garden Club Blue Star Memorial Committee has been awarded $800 by the Garden Club of New Jersey Blue Star Council to refurbish the memorial on Rt. 33 across from Bernie’s Bike Shop.

Committee co-chairperson Melissa said, "The Blue Star Memorial Garden in Hamilton honors the service and sacrifices of our veterans in all branches of the military. This year marks America's 250th anniversary and to commemorate this milestone, the Blue Star Council has awarded us grant money allocated for clean up and beautification of our Blue Star Memorial Garden. We appreciate the opportunity to use these funds to make this a garden that our community can take pride in as we remember the veterans who have served to defend our nation."
