Work like that accomplished by the club's Blue Star Memorial Committee is part of a broader effort that honors U.S. veterans and military families by cleaning and landscaping thousands of memorial sites across the country.
It's especially appropriate as this year marks America's 250th anniversary. The committee refurbished the memorial on Rt. 33 across from Bernie’s Bike Shop. The Blue Star Memorial Garden in Hamilton honors the service and sacrifices of our veterans in all branches of the military. Committee co-chairpersons are Melissa and Maria and committee members are Jay, Joan, Elaine G., Kathy, Jay M., Fran, Joanne, Kelly, Stacy and Nancy F.
