behind the Sayen House and near the gazebo. Volunteers were Esther, Cathy, Rodney, Jeanette, Pam, Lynn, Jim and President Jay. The team planted 200 in three spaces on Monday, May 18, and the rest in a fourth space the next day.
Jay initiated the project by suggesting to Hamilton Township that it would be a good way to commemorate the nation's 250th birthday. The township accepted and donated the flowers for the project.
Bouquets of thanks to the township and Sayen Gardens gardener Wiley Burak, who said, "It was an efficient and great job."
